Why are you so petrified with silence?

Alanis asked me that question as a young man. The lyrics still hound me til now. It's so true. And like the residents of Quezon City struggling to find potable water, I am experiencing a dry spell with regards to my energy and passions.
Even Blogville has gone silent. Half the blogs I read have been so awfully quiet. I'm missing the intellectual rants and debates from comments to reply to comments. I'm missing gossip and scandal and worthless celebrity stories. I'm missing the boyfriend-crazy-girl who got her heart broken on New Years Eve-fell in love and got her heart broken again. Boyfriend shrines have turned into barren fields and even co-stalkers have lost energy. The newly-wed girl has gone busy building a family. The poet no longer writes. And even Inday had no amusing stories to tell.

u r right gomz.blogville is sooo silent...i,myself is kinda tamad to write.i don't know what happened to the other bloggers.i also miss the "boyfriend-crazy-girl who got her heart broken on New Years Eve-fell in love and got her heart broken again".and i miss ivah's comments on ur blog.

musta nikki! hope your real-life stalkers are giving you peace and quiet these days.
I heard some rumors about boyfriend-crazy girl's past, which comes as a shock cause I didn't quite get that vibe when reading her blog for 2 years. The funny thing, though is I don't know if the rumor throws me off or turns me on. ;)

Have not really had time to write anything the past few weeks (and I see that you've been the same) but I'm definitely back. Had way too much goin on and I guess I couldn't keep up and blog about them.
What's been going on with you? Dark clouds...? Although silence could also be good.

@Psyche: Yeah, everyones busy with year-end deadlines and buying Christmas gifts, which I haven't done yet. Kawawa naman yung ka-kris kringle ko. And btw, has anyone ever told you that you somehow resemble Tweety de Leon?

my blogstalking experience has led to a postulate that all women who are in love with a particular guy who loves them back can be classified as boyfriend crazy. ;D
but i think there's only one unfortunate soul who had her heart broken on Christmas day and then New Years Eve a few years thereafter.
I like that S.A.D. it's better-sounding than the old SMC.
